There are dozens if not hundreds of PC emulators nowadays, what's so great about Aemula?
- Multi-thread emulation. VGA/Audio works on a different thread from the CPU emulation thread, to take advantage of dual core architecture.
- CPU core is written in hand optimized assembler, to keep the interpretation loop as tight as possible.
- Emulation speed is adjustable on the fly in terms of MIPS, to emulate different classes of CPU.
